Summer storms

Hello Friends and Family,

Since last talking with you all, I have spent time on eight planes equaling 30+ hrs. in the air. I was in England for two weeks getting a new visa so I could get back into Russia. Ten days after arriving back in this wonderful country I headed off to New York to spend some time with family and then to Wisconsin for a wedding. All the traveling was a lot of fun, but I can tell you I am done traveling for awhile.

After returning from the States on May 17th, I began final preparations for a group of students that will spend the summer here studying in a university. They have arrived safely and are adjusting to life here. Please be lifting them up as they spend the next seven weeks here spending time with students.

I presently beginning to wrap things up as I leave July 14th. Before then, I will have two more trips out of this city, so my time is really short. I would appreciate your pr's in my last weeks here. I greatly desire to spend this time working with all I am to finish well.

A few pics from my trips!

Joy & Fear

Hello Family and Friends,

I am finally breaking my long silence. Please accept my apologies for not keeping you updated. I'm sorry for not doing my part in keeping you updated that you may walk with me in this journey. In the next few paragraphs I will share with you the joy that comes from what Father is doing in this city, as well as, the fear from the suicide bombings as of this morning.

I'm sure you all have read about it or seen the latest on what's going on here, so I will keep this brief. I awoke this morning to talk of a bombing only to have another one go off 40 minutes later. It's been sad to see things develop here and I admittedly was struck with some fear. Things have "calmed down" here, but I hear of some panic still left in the city. I would ask for your pr's for the people of this city, especially those affected, and the workers here as we are all a little shaken.

How does one summarize the last several months? Through December and January there were many opportunities to share given the holidays that last for about a month. We were able to have parties and share about the true meaning of Christmas.

February was a busy month with a friend getting married here in Moscow and another finishing his term and returning back to the States. This was a great time of joy as I saw many things our Father was doing.

A lot has been happening in the last month. I have been asking for many opportunities to share the truth and He has been faithful in providing those opportunities. Throughout March, I have met five people just by walking through the city. I was able to share the Truth with a few of them and have passed the girls of to some women I work with. There has also been great reports from Brothers and Sisters that have been able to share. Please be lifting these people up as things are definitely changing in this city! Some of their names are: Regina, Dima, Tamara, Andrew, Anastasia and Michael. These are not all, just those who have been randomly met in public places lately, PTL!

I have about three months left in this city! Please be lifting up my remaining time as I seek to use my time wisely. Also, I have to do a visa run in a couple of weeks and there is a possibly of delays, which could keep me out of the country longer.

Thank you for continuing on with me :)

Quick Update

As the year comes to a close, I am swamped with Christmas parties as Christmas isn't until January 7th here. It's a bit unusual since I have already celebrated it, but it does give me more time to tell the story of hope. Please pr for the opportunities that I have to share. That Father would continue to draw these people to Him.

Presently my week is filled with two disciples and a group on Saturday. Of course, those aren't the only set meetings I have, and some how I have something to do almost every day. Please pr for my disciples as they learn and look for disciples of their own. Also, pr for the Saturday group as we reach out to the people around us.

I want to thank all of you who give to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. This goes to sending people to the field, such as myself. Thank you for supporting me as I follow in obedience. I hope all of you have had a Merry Christmas and I will update you on the rest of the holidays and post some pictures in the near future.

Until then,

C borom
